The Department of International Political Economy was established in January 2010. In terms of teaching, the Department represents the backbone of SIR, with courses being taught at both graduate and postgraduate levels. The Department publishes regularly, in national and international academic journals, and conducts numerous research projects, both at national and regional level, with research clusters in economic diplomacy, public diplomacy, cyberspace governance and international political and economic relations.
