The Department of International Politics was established in January 2006, within the framework of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Since January 2010, it became part of the School of International Relations. Responsible for a wide range of courses, taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, the Department of International Politics carries various national, regional and university-based research projects. Among its research clusters, the regional economic and political cooperation, national image, soft power and overseas interests of China, are the most prominent. The Department maintains exchange programs with numerous similar institutions around the world.
